Ingredients

1 tsp sharp Uda Pussellawa tea
220ml fresh spring water at 92°C
1 small fresh sprig of rosemary

Brewing Guide

1

Heat water to 92°C. This unlocks caffeine and focus amino acids without harsh bitterness.

2

Place the tea leaves and the rosemary sprig in your brewing basket or teapot.

3

Pour water and steep for exactly 2 minutes. Focus your mind on the steam as it rises.

4

Remove the leaves and rosemary. Sip slowly at your desk, inhaling the herbal aroma.

The Mindful Ritual

The Kshana (Two-Minute Horizon)

A somatic practice to ground your nervous system while the warm tea steeps and cools.

Step 1

Turn away from all digital screens while your tea steeps. Find the furthest point visible through a window or across the room.

Step 2

Focus your gaze entirely on that single distant point for 30 seconds, letting your peripheral vision relax and your breathing settle.

Step 3

Bring your gaze back to the cup. Take one deliberate, analytical sip, noting the taste notes, then return to your work with a clear mind.
